Tropical Tribe started in 2013 as a lunch-wagon, gaining fast traction before moving after one year into a storefront on the bottom level of the Discovery Bay Center. The shop made its name as the first store in Hawaii to serve authentic Brazilian açaí bowls, founded with the mission of bringing the original recipe to the islands.
