Description
Set in the northwest corner of the expansive RIMAC Fields just north of LionTree Arena, the stadium hosts UC San Diego’s men’s and women’s soccer squads. Before the 2022 season, the grounds were laser leveled and re-surfaced with fresh grass, reinforcing a reputation as one of the West Coast's premier playing surfaces. Matchday crowds pack built-in seating for 750, which can expand to 1,750 for NCAA postseason fixtures. Beyond collegiate play, the broader complex once served as an August training camp base for the San Diego Chargers and welcomed professional sides including Major League Soccer's Vancouver Whitecaps.
