Tribeca Sushi and Sashimi Sets With Sake and Yuzu Ice Cream
Eat Tribeca sushi and sashimi sets at a two-decade Duane Street spot, without the high price tag of many NYC rooms.
🍣 Sashimi Sets and Sake
Takahachi Tribeca has held its Duane Street address for two decades, and Tribeca sushi regulars still return for its sushi and sashimi sets. The room is casual and neighborly, and the meal comes without the high price tag of many NYC spots.
Attentive staff explain each cut and keep the green tea cups refilled, a small courtesy that suits an unhurried dinner. Pair the sets with one of the sake selections, then finish with yuzu ice cream. The dessert list draws on a sister pastry shop.
Timing shifts by day. Tuesday through Friday add a weekday lunch from noon to half past two, a second chance at sashimi before the evening. Dinner runs from 5 PM to 10 PM every day of the week, Monday and the weekend included. At 145 Duane Street, it fits a relaxed date, a midweek lunch break, or a meal built around sake.
