Description

The site operates under the City of Phoenix Water Services, which pumps reclaimed water from a wastewater treatment plant through the habitat before discharging it back into the river. Trails run past willows, mesquites, and desert shrubs, supporting native mammals and plant life alongside seasonal wintering songbirds.
