Trade Laguna's Surf for Oak Mountain's Cave and Callaway's Hilltop

A private day from Laguna Beach into Temecula wine country, with three tastings covered and a guide who does the driving.

This is a private tour. The vehicle, the guide and the whole day belong to your group, and the guide does the driving and the narration. Bottled water, snacks and air conditioning are included on board.

The calendar sells one departure, 8:30 AM, Monday through Saturday, with no Sunday option. The listing puts the day at eight and a half hours; the operator's own tour page rounds it to about nine.

Four paying guests is the smallest booking the calendar will take, and anyone aged 3 or older counts as one. Infants under 3 ride free. Bookings cap at fourteen guests.

The day covers Old Town Temecula and four wineries. Three of those wineries pour tastings the price already covers. The fourth is the lunch stop, where food and any wine are bought on the spot.

A Laguna Pickup, or Lot 16 on CA-133

Guests staying at a hotel, private home or vacation rental in Laguna Beach can be collected there. The listing says the operator texts the exact pickup time on the morning of the tour and turns up in a clearly marked tour vehicle. A steep or awkward driveway can move the pickup to the curb or a nearby safe spot. The booking form asks for your pickup point.

The alternative is to meet the vehicle at Lot 16, 1875 CA-133 in Laguna Beach. The operator calls it a public lot that it neither owns nor manages, warns that spaces fill quickly and restrictions may apply, and suggests a rideshare to anyone unsure about parking.

The city lists Lot 16 as the Act V lot, at 1900 Laguna Canyon Road (CA-133). The city's page for the lot says that outside summer it is closed Monday through Friday and offers free parking on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 8 PM. Visit Laguna Beach's parking page repeats the weekday closure under its non-summer schedule for September 8, 2026 to June 25, 2027. The tour leaves at 8:30 AM, so anyone booking a weekday in that window should take the pickup.

The operator's FAQ also asks anyone who booked through a third party to contact it as soon as possible to confirm the reservation.

Coffee in Old Town, Then Barrels and a Hillside Cave

Old Town Temecula comes first, with forty minutes of free time on a street the listing describes as Western-era, lined with boutiques and cafes. On Saturdays there may be a farmers market. Forty minutes covers a coffee and a short walk; lunch comes later.

Somerset Vineyard & Winery is the first winery stop, an hour with a tasting and a guided production tour. Oak Mountain Winery follows with a tasting, charcuterie boards and a guided walk through its cave, which the winery bills as Southern California's only subterranean mined wine cave, 104 feet underground.

The tastings at Somerset, Oak Mountain and Callaway are included. The listing's short inclusions list leaves them off, but its stop-by-stop itinerary and the operator's tour page both name them.

Cougar on Weekdays, Bel Vino on Saturdays, Callaway Last

Lunch, and any wine at the lunch stop, is paid for on the spot. Monday through Friday the group stops at Cougar Winery. The listing still calls its kitchen Sangio's Deli; the winery has renamed it Sangio's Osteria and says its sandwiches, pizzas, platters, salads and appetizers are made to order.

On Saturdays it is Bel Vino Winery, with picnic tables and live music, which Bel Vino schedules from noon to 4 PM on weekends. The listing and the operator both mention BBQ at its bistro, but Bel Vino's own bistro page now lists New Mexico-style dishes from Nana's Tamales and lunch-box charcuterie boards from Grazing Theory. The operator also takes pre-orders for a catered sandwich lunch on Saturdays, which has to be bought at least 24 hours ahead.

Bel Vino's tasting page welcomes guests of all ages Sunday through Friday and leaves Saturday out. In October 2025 the same page said guests had to be 16 or older all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Families with younger children should ask the operator before booking a Saturday. Cougar, the weekday stop, says it has no age restrictions as long as children are supervised.

Callaway Winery closes the day with a final included tasting. The listing puts its modern tasting room on a hilltop with sweeping views of Temecula Valley.

A Price That Drops Per Head as the Group Grows

The price is per person and drops as the party grows. Four guests pay USD 332.35 each and fourteen pay USD 181.67 each, as of October 15, 2026. The booking page shows the rate for the number you enter, and gratuities are on top. Booked on the operator's own site instead, private tours take a 50% deposit, refunded in full only for cancellations 10 or more days out, with no refund inside 7 days.

The operator requires a car seat or booster for children under nine or under 40 pounds. It can supply one and asks families to bring their own where possible.

The listing marks the day as suitable for all fitness levels and also as not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Neither the operator's tour page nor its FAQ covers wheelchair access. Put any health or mobility needs in the booking's special-requirements field.

Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund on this booking. The operator runs in the rain unless road conditions make it unsafe. The last pour is on Callaway's hilltop, and the drive back to Laguna Beach is someone else's job.
