Track Six Murder Suspects Around Atlanta's Little Five Points

A clue box, a lockbox and a no-download app turn Little Five Points into the board for a self-paced murder case.

Escapely's Little Five Points game arrives as a box you carry into the neighborhood. Inside are a lockbox with a real lock, clue envelopes that stay locked until the game tells you otherwise, clue items such as a magnifying glass and a handkerchief, a pen, and QR codes that open a web app with nothing to download. The app holds the storyline and videos, checks your answers and tells you where to walk next.

The box holds most of the clues. The rest are hidden around Little Five Points, and you solve each puzzle by comparing what you find with what is in the box. The story is Escapely's Whodunnit: a murder, six suspects, and a case you close by ruling out crime locations and checking alibis until you can make an accusation. Every Whodunnit city shares that storyline and similar puzzles. Escapely says the clues in this one are built into Little Five Points.

As of October 19, 2026, the listing prices one box at USD 75, and one box covers a group of up to six. Escapely suggests two to six players for sharing the clues, and says one person can play alone.

Book seven or more days before you play and the operator contacts you to arrange shipping. Book inside a week and the box is set up for local pickup instead, and there is no local pickup on Mondays. Escapely sends next steps by message after you book. A box already in hand can still be played on a Monday.

Open the Box Anywhere in Little Five Points

Escapely's start rule is loose on purpose: open the box anywhere in Little Five Points, and the box tells you where each clue is. The listing ties the activity to the neighborhood as a whole, not to a street address. One player wrote in November 2024 that the game's suggested starting spot let them grab a table and coffees before setting off.

Escapely says you can park anywhere in the area, and that Little Five Points is less than a mile from the Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA station. MARTA's station page says the neighborhood is an easy walk through the park to Euclid Avenue, or a short bus ride, and that the station lots hold 366 free daily spaces with no overnight parking. Route 51 runs from the station's Bay E to the Moreland Avenue at Euclid Avenue stop. Metered street spaces are paid through the city's ATLPlus program at $3.50 an hour citywide, and the posted signs and meter placards set the time limit.

The neighborhood is small, and Escapely says you will crisscross it a few times during the game. It puts the walking at about a mile.

One Store to Enter, Everything Else Outdoors

Escapely's own spoiler names three kinds of stops: a natural foods market, Findley Plaza and a tattoo shop. The Little 5 Points Alliance says the Findley Plaza renovation was completed in March 2026. Only one business has to be entered, a game partner that offers Escapely players a discount, and you go in to find a clue without talking to staff. Escapely names Sevananda Natural Foods Market on Moreland Avenue as that partner, and Sevananda's own site lists it open every day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Everything else is outdoors.

A player in April 2026 wrote that one location would not honor the coupon. Another, in November 2024, found that a business named in one puzzle had closed, reported it, and wrote that Escapely had already fixed it. When a spot is temporarily off-limits, such as a blocked street or a restaurant booked for a private event, Escapely's FAQ says the app keeps photos of those clues under the hint "This location is inaccessible."

Escapely puts playing time at 90 minutes to three hours, depending on experience and how much you eat, drink and explore along the way. The listing plans on about two hours and gives the game's daily hours as 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Hints carry no penalty, nobody gets timed out, and a solo player in 2024 took about three hours.

Who It Suits

Escapely pitches the game at couples, families, friend groups, tourists and solo players, and says it works for all ages. Reviews from October 2025 to February 2026 describe bringing a 12-year-old or a 13-year-old along, running it as a leadership team builder, and playing during the neighborhood's Halloween festivities. One called the puzzles "clever and engaging without being frustrating."

Families should know that The Vortex, the skull-fronted bar on Moreland Avenue that Escapely lists among the sights, admits only guests 21 and over under its house rules. Escapely says Las Vegas is the only one of its games with a 21-plus stop, so this case never sends you inside.

Wheelchairs, Weather and Final Sales

The listing ticks the wheelchair-accessible, all-surfaces, accessible-transportation and stroller boxes. Escapely's Atlanta page, FAQ and terms say nothing about wheelchairs, strollers or step-free access, and they do not describe the entrance of the store where the indoor clue sits. MARTA says all of its train stations have elevators, escalators and ramps, and its regular buses are low-floor with ramps. If anyone in your group uses a wheelchair, ask Escapely about the route before you book.

Sales on this listing are final, with no refund for cancellations, and the listing says you can reschedule at any time with no fee. The game is self-guided and the weather call is yours. Escapely's FAQ says you can stop at any time and pick up later where you left off.

Escapely also recommends playing in daylight, for safety and so the clues are easy to see. Between November 1 and January 11, sunset in Little Five Points comes between 5:29 and 5:48 PM by the U.S. Naval Observatory's tables, well before the 7:00 PM end of the listing's daily hours, so a start by about 3:30 PM leaves room for the listing's two-hour estimate.

📍 The pin marks Variety Playhouse on Euclid Avenue, inside Little Five Points. It is not a meeting point. Escapely lets you open the box anywhere in the neighborhood, and the clues lead you to a natural foods market, Findley Plaza and a tattoo shop.
