Description
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and recognized as a Phoenix Point of Pride, the property centers on a 5,000-square-foot structure framed by preserved Sonoran Desert, outbuildings, and thousands of saguaro cacti. Visits set out from the onsite Visitor Center to navigate natural desert trails on docent-led walking tours. For evening visits, twilight tours are not suggested for children under age 15.
