🪵 Brooklyn History Under Timber Beams

The Wyckoff House Museum takes your Brooklyn afternoon back to around 1652, when Pieter Claesen Wyckoff built what is now the oldest standing structure in New York. The interior pairs exposed ceiling beams with a long wooden table, benches and traditional household items.

Plan your visit for Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM, the listed weekly opening window. The main house currently has scaffolding while its roof is being replaced. Beyond the house, a historic garden and active urban farm add another layer to a date built around Brooklyn history.
