Tour a Stick Style Lighthouse Museum Above San Pedro Bay

Tour a Victorian lighthouse museum above San Pedro Bay for its original lens and Pacific-facing park.

Plan a lighthouse museum visit.

🌊 Lens, Tower and Ocean Air

Point Fermin sits on the San Pedro bluff, where a small Victorian lighthouse faces the Pacific and the harbor beyond. Architect Paul J. Pelz designed it in the Stick Style, and the museum keeps that history close with its original classic lens and tours through the historic interior. The open park grounds make the setting feel bigger than the building, with ocean views carrying the eye past the fence line.

Go for the architecture, then give yourself time outside. The park stays open from six thirty in the morning to 10 pm daily, while office hours run Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. That split matters if you want the museum rather than only the grounds. The lighthouse is at 807 W Paseo Del Mar, San Pedro, and it first served as a navigational guide for mariners entering San Pedro Bay.

This is a compact coastal outing, not a full day itinerary. Pair the tour with a slow bluff walk, and keep the lens and harbor story as the reason to linger.
