Top of the Mark
4.4 (1,933)bar
This 19th-floor sky lounge pairs 360-degree San Francisco views with classic martinis and storied wartime roots.
Description

Converted from the Mark Hopkins penthouse in 1939 by owner George D. Smith, the room gained wartime renown when servicemen gathered for a farewell toast known as the 'Squadron Shot' before shipping off. Today, it combines that history with rotating live bands, craft cocktails, fine spirits, and shared appetizers. The atmosphere leans sophisticated, though the space can get crowded during peak evening hours.
