Top Down Through LA in Your Own 1970s Cadillac
Your own driver-guide, an open 1970s Cadillac, and a stop list long enough that the hours you book decide the map.
This is a private ride. The car, the driver-guide and the route belong to your group for four, six or eight hours, and the price is set per car. The listing describes a 1970s classic convertible. The operator's fleet page says the guide does the driving, so you can look around and take photos.
The listing's sixteen timed stops add up to four hours before a single mile is driven. The listing says it outright: the number of hours booked decides the number of attractions. Choosing the length is choosing how much of the city you see.

At the time of writing the listing charges USD 1,000 per car for four hours, 1,500 for six and 2,000 for eight. A party of four pays what a couple pays. Bottled water and hotel pickup are included. Gratuities are not; the operator's FAQ calls tipping optional and gives ten to twenty percent as the usual American rule of thumb.
All 140 reviews on the listing so far give five stars.
Classic Convertible Car Tour of Los AngelesPrivate four-, six- or eight-hour tour of Los Angeles in a classic convertible with a driver-guide, priced per car, with hotel pickup in Beverly Hills, Hollywood or downtown.www.viator.comFour Hours Means Picking a Side of Town

The stop list spreads across the whole city. Downtown has the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Grand Central Market. The coast has the Santa Monica Pier, Muscle Beach and Abbot Kinney Boulevard, with Marina del Rey to the south. On the half day there is no fitting all of it.
A guest who took the four-hour option, writing in February 2026, put it plainly: "we had to select where we'd like to go, and opted for a trip to downtown LA rather than Venice Beach/Santa Monica, as the latter felt like it deserved a separate trip of its own."
Decide which side matters before pickup, and write it in the special-requirements box when you book. The operator's FAQ says the four-hour tour stops for a tea or coffee break. On six or eight hours, tell the guide at the start if you want a proper meal stop. Food is not among the things the listing includes.
The Hollywood Sign Photo, Then the Beverly Hills Hedges

The listed route gives twenty minutes to what it calls the best spot for a photo with the Hollywood Sign, and lists the Dolby Theatre and the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard. Guests describe more than a roadside stop. One guest, writing in February 2026, described "a pitstop to walk up to the Hollywood sign" on a quieter route, "just us and two other people". Another, writing in October 2025, got "that classic photo using a route that the tourists don't know about."
Beverly Hills is the other set piece: Greystone Mansion's formal gardens, Rodeo Drive and the residential streets the listing promises to pass through. The operator's own FAQ admits that many celebrity houses in Beverly Hills and Bel Air are hidden behind gates and tall bushes. Expect neighborhoods and stories more than front doors.
Which Cadillac Turns Up, and How Many Fit
The operator runs this tour in two restored 1970 Cadillac DeVille convertibles, a blue one with a white interior and a black one with a red interior. The listing still shows Eldorados: its photos are of white and black ones, and its web address names a 1976 Eldorado. In reviews since 2022, most guests who describe the car name a 1970 DeVille or a blue Cadillac. If you have a color in mind, the operator says it will tell you which one is free on your date.
Plan on four guests per car. One booking on the listing takes up to five travelers, and the operator's fleet page seats four guests plus the driver-guide in each DeVille.
Dress for an Open Roof, and Mind the Age Advice
With the top down there is no shade. The listing asks you to wear a hat, sunscreen and a long-sleeved shirt, and guests repeat it. A guest writing in July 2023: "take hats and sun cream if it's hot as you are exposed when the roof is down." Cool mornings run the other way. Guests writing between 2019 and 2022 mention blankets handed out on chilly days.
The operator recommends its classic car tours for children seven and older. The listing only advises against children two and under and says infant seats are available, and the operator's FAQ adds booster and child seats. With a younger child in the party, plan around the operator's figure. The operator also says the pace is yours and asks guests with mobility issues to tell it in advance.
📍 Hotel pickup and drop-off are included in Beverly Hills, Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles. Pickups in Santa Monica, Venice Beach, El Segundo, Marina del Rey, Westwood and Brentwood cost extra, and the listing does not publish that fee.
If you would rather meet the car, the listing gives three points: hotel valet parking in Hollywood and in Beverly Hills, and one downtown near L.A. Live. The pin on this page marks the Hollywood one, the valet parking directly behind the Hollywood Roosevelt.
- Start times run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Booking closes six hours before the start, and confirmation is instant.
- Booked here, a full refund holds until 24 hours before departure. The operator's own site sets 48 hours for bookings made directly with it.
Pick your side of town, pack the hat, and leave the route to the guide.
