Tom's Restaurant

Operating on upper Broadway and 112th Street, this Morningside Heights fixture has served the Columbia University community since the 1940s. Its cultural footprint expanded through Suzanne Vega's song "Tom's Diner" and its recurring role as the exterior of Monk's Diner on Seinfeld. Inside, visitors find classic coffee, comfy booths, a bar top, and an outside patio alongside lots of memorabilia from the show.
