New York Theatre Guide reports the show has set box office records since he joined in November 2025 and is now the highest-grossing production in Lyric Theatre history.

Felton grew up on screen in this role across the film series, and this run is his Broadway debut. One London stage run came before it, as Sam in 2:22 - A Ghost Story in 2022. New York Theatre Guide calls him the first Harry Potter movie actor to join the show's cast anywhere in the world.
When the production announced his casting in June 2025, Felton called it a full-circle moment: "when I begin performances in Cursed Child this fall, I'll also be the exact age Draco is in the play."
Dates up to January 3 are on sale now, and he is not on stage for all of them. The official site lists three sets of performances he is not scheduled to appear at: August 17 to 23, September 14 to 20, and October 12 to 18, all in 2026.
