Tom Felton Now Plays Draco Malfoy Live on Broadway
The actor who played Draco in the films now plays him onstage, in the Broadway staging of the eighth story.
Tom Felton played Draco Malfoy in eight films. He now plays the same character onstage at the Lyric Theatre in Times Square.
The play picks up long after the books close. Harry is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and the father of three school-age children. His son Albus struggles with a family legacy he never wanted. Draco stands on the other side of that history, and the stage gives him more to do than the films ever did.
Felton's run is billed as a final extension, with the official site putting him in the role through January 3, 2027. Tickets for the production itself are on sale into May 2027. Those two dates are not the same, and only one of them has Felton in it.
The performance runs about 2 hours and 55 minutes including one intermission. A single booking covers the whole story in one evening.
