Toast Diamond Head at Sunset, Then Dance on Deck
Diamond Head at golden hour, then a live DJ and a dance floor on a two-deck powerboat out of Kewalo Basin.
This is a nightlife cruise that happens to pass Diamond Head at sunset. The boat leaves Kewalo Basin Harbor in Kakaʻako, about two miles from Waikiki, runs along the coast in the last light, and once it is dark a live DJ takes over the deck. Every guest must be 21 or older and show photo ID before boarding.
Recent guests booked it for a bachelorette party, a bachelor party and a birthday. It works alone too. Dejoure W., who sailed solo in July 2026, wrote, "I went on this cruise by myself and I enjoyed myself."

Seats are sold per adult on a shared departure that the listing caps at 50 travelers, and one booking covers up to ten people. The card below opens the booking page.
Premier Waikiki Sunset Party Cruise with Live DJ and Full BarShared sunset cruise of about two hours from Kewalo Basin Harbor, Pier D. Live DJ and one drink ticket included. Ages 21 and up.www.viator.comDiamond Head at Golden Hour, Then City Lights

The route stays close to home. The listing's itinerary names Diamond Head and Waikiki, and the operator describes the boat positioning for a view of Diamond Head as the sun goes down, then Honolulu's lights coming on as night falls. From October through March the boat leaves at 5:30 PM and is due back at 7:30 PM; from April through September both times are 45 minutes later.
Wildlife is a bonus. The operator says guests sometimes spot spinner dolphins, and humpback whales in winter, while noting that the cruise is focused on the party.
One Drink Ticket, Then the Bar

The boat is a two-deck powerboat with wraparound seating, an open bow, LED party lights and a sound system, per the listing, and the DJ plays live. The included drink ticket covers one beer or seltzer. The operator's booking notes price everything else at USD 6 for soft drinks, beer and seltzer, and USD 6 to 12 for liquor. A September 2026 guest wrote that the ticket does not cover the cocktails, only seltzers and beer.
No outside alcohol is allowed on board. The operator's site also lists an optional unlimited-refill cup at USD 60, with shots and premium drinks charged separately. Gratuities are not included.
Fridays Run Longer, Tuesdays Do Not Run
The boat sails every night except Tuesday. On Fridays the operator stretches the cruise to two and a half hours so the boat can stay out for the fireworks off Waikiki, which puts the October to March return at 8:00 PM. As of October 28, 2026, the listing charges USD 80 per adult on most nights and USD 100 on Fridays. The listing also bills every Wednesday as 80s and 90s night, though the operator's own page for the cruise does not mention a theme night.
The operator needs at least 10 guests to sail. The listing reserves the right to cancel for bad weather or too few bookings; otherwise, per the operator, the cruise runs rain or shine.
Shoes Off, ID Out, and One Small Bag
Shoes come off before boarding, for safety. The crew stores them on board, and clean reef shoes or grip socks are allowed. The operator says its boat is not wheelchair accessible, and the listing says the same. Space is tight too: the listing allows one bag per person, and the operator's booking notes ask for one per group, so pack to the stricter rule.
Evenings on the water run cool, so bring a long-sleeve layer, especially in winter. If you get seasick, the operator's booking notes suggest taking medication about an hour before the start, and the listing adds that it is not recommended if you plan to drink.
📍 Check in at the gate to Pier D, slip 111, at Kewalo Basin Harbor. Navigate to Pier D and gate 111 specifically; a March 2026 guest who went by the address in the app ended up walking a long way. The listing and the operator's booking notes both ask you to arrive 30 minutes before departure, which is 5:00 PM from October through March. The 5:45 PM check-in printed in the booking confirmation is the April to September time on the operator's own schedule.
Parking is limited, and the stalls in front of the charter boats are reserved for members. The operator's booking notes put the Kewalo Basin Park lot at USD 2.50 an hour; the listing recommends Uber, Lyft or a taxi, which also suits a night at the bar. Hotel pickup is not included.
Through this listing, you can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure. The operator's own site uses a 48-hour cutoff for direct bookings. Back at the dock after dark, you are already in Kakaʻako with the rest of the evening ahead.
