Timberland Park
4.7 (300)park
Tucked just off the Natchez Trace Parkway, this quiet park offers shaded forest trails and an interpretive nature center.
Description

Hikes here trace a hillside descent through middle Tennessee woods before climbing back up, with routes extending to a two-mile loop. Paths feature informative tree markers across both standard and ADA-accessible trails, dipping past a pond along the way. Near the hilltop parking lot, a bench swing and overlook frame the surrounding scenery, bordered by picnic areas and a butterfly garden. The interpretive center rounds out the grounds with educational displays, trail maps, and hiking sticks to borrow for the return ascent.
