Description
Co-founding dim sum masters Mak Kwai Pui and Leung Fai Keung met as head chefs in Hong Kong before leaving their posts to open the first Tim Ho Wan in Mong Kok in 2009. That initial location earned one Michelin star within a year of operation and the title of the world’s most inexpensive awarded restaurant. Since then, the chain has expanded across the region and into nine countries, with locations in Tokyo, New York City, and Hawaii.
