TikkaTemple is built on the legacy of Harbir Singh—fondly known as Beera—who began making chicken tikka and butter chicken in Punjab with the belief that everyone deserves hearty, soul-satisfying food. In 2018, his son Baljinder brought his father’s culinary vision to the Houston area, establishing the Katy restaurant around those generational preparations. The kitchen centers on North Indian staples like butter chicken and goat curry, alongside Beera’s cherished recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala.
