Tic-Tac-Toe With an Axe in North Myrtle Beach
A coach walks you through the throw, then projects games onto your target and finishes with throwing stars.
At Jack Axe Entertainment the target on the wall is a projection, and the coach can turn it into a game board. This listing books 75 minutes there, on Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach. It opens with a lesson and safety briefing whose length depends on the size of your group. Then the coach sets your lane up with games. When the axe games are done, out come the throwing stars.
The listing marks this as a private activity, so the only players are the people on your booking. The operator says most lanes have two boards, enough for four to six people, and asks groups of more than eight to ten to get in touch before booking so it can hold the space.

The price is USD 29 a person, and the listing charges the same at every age. Alcohol and snacks are not included.

The listing does not promise a set list of games; the coach picks them once everyone is ready. The operator's own booking page counts more than 17 interactive games after the warm-up, plus ninja stars and other items to throw. Travelers on this listing have named what they got. One in March 2026 listed Battleship, tic-tac-toe and rock, paper, scissors. Another, in June 2026, expected a plain target and found games like tic-tac-toe to compete at.
A third, in March 2025, put the setup simply: “different games you can play and that project them down your lane.”
A Bar Beside the Lanes

Alcohol costs extra, and the venue runs its own bar. The operator lists 17-plus taps and 40-plus selections, with wine, craft beer and non-alcoholic options. You may bring in food, but outside drinks are not allowed in the building. The venue also lists pizza and subs, and suggests calling ahead so the order is ready when you arrive.
A traveler on this listing in 2025 wrote that the session never felt rushed and left time to enjoy beers between throws.
Ten and Up for the Axes
Axe throwing here is for ages 10 and up, under the operator's own rules. The listing sells a child ticket for ages 5 to 9 and a youth ticket for 10 to 17, all at the adult price, and an adult has to be on the booking. Neither the listing nor the operator says what a child under 10 does during the session, so if you are bringing one, ask in the special-requirements box at checkout before you pay for that ticket.
The operator also requires that children 7 to 13 have an adult present at the facility for their whole visit.
Shoes and Access
The operator recommends clean, flat, closed-toe shoes, though it does not require them.
The listing ticks three wheelchair-access boxes, including one for all areas and surfaces. The operator's website and its own booking page say nothing about access either way, so treat those ticks as unconfirmed. Raise any access need in the special-requirements box. The same listing calls the activity suitable for all fitness levels while advising against it for travelers with poor cardiovascular health.
📍 Jack Axe Entertainment is at 3606 Hwy 17 S, about a quarter mile north of Barefoot Landing on the west side of US 17, and that is the address on your ticket. It has been at this spot since early 2019, when local TV station WMBF reported it as the first axe-throwing venue in North Myrtle Beach. Don't head to 4801 S Kings Hwy in Myrtle Beach, more than 15 miles south. The company's second location used to be there, and the operator says it has been gone for more than two years.
- Mobile or paper tickets are accepted.
- Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund; inside 24 hours there is no refund.
Finish on the throwing stars, then carry the scoreboard argument over to the bar.
