Throw Axes at Projected Zombies in an Orlando Tiki Bar
An hour of coached axe throwing at projected game targets on Palm Parkway, with a tiki bar inside the same venue.
Bananas' Axe Cabana runs 16 tropically themed lanes and a tiki bar inside a shopping plaza on Palm Parkway. This booking buys one hour on a lane with an axe coach, axes included. The targets are projected, and you can switch games during the hour, from a plain bullseye to Zombies and a digital version of beer pong. The operator puts a party of up to four on one lane and gives larger parties more lanes, and the listing sells the hour as private to your group.

Bookings on this listing take two to nine throwers, and one person can't check out alone. Sessions start on the hour: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Fridays, 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Saturdays and 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sundays. As of November 3, 2026, the price ran USD 32 a person for two, USD 29 each for three or four and USD 27 each for five or more.

Each session opens with a briefing. Your axe coach demonstrates two ways to throw, works with the group until everyone is comfortable, and stays available for the rest of the hour. The same coach is also your server for drinks and food during the session. A March 2026 review describes "ample explanation and prep time."
The operator's FAQ names 19 games, among them Cricket, Tiki-Tac-Toe, a Battleship-style game called Gone Fishin' and Throw at it!, which puts your own photos on the target. The listing still says 13. The axes and the wood are real; the projection only changes what you aim at.
The Tiki Bar, and Dinner From the Plaza

Drinks and snacks sit outside the booking price. The bar's Orlando menu runs to beer, canned cocktails, cider, wine, mocktails and soft drinks, with snacks on the side. There is no kitchen. You can bring in food from restaurants in the same plaza, such as Kung Fu Kitchen, Kitty O'Shea's and V Pizza, and staff keep menus on hand to help you order.
The venue also has steel-tip darts, walk-in only and first come, first served. Darts are free with an open bar tab and a two-drink minimum per person.
Who Can Throw, and What to Wear
Throwers need to be 13 or older, and anyone under 18 throws with a parent or legal guardian along. For younger children, the operator offers a free target with plastic axes and throwing stars in the lane next to your group, and asks you to call about it. Everyone signs a waiver before the first throw. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, though not required, along with loose clothes that allow a full swing. The operator's terms say guests who arrive intoxicated can be refused entry. The listing marks the venue wheelchair accessible, and the operator's own pages don't describe access either way.
Arrival, Lanes and Refunds
Arrive about five minutes before your start, as the listing asks. The operator's terms say a group 15 or more minutes late can be counted as a no-show and refused entry. A lane holds up to four throwers, and parties of up to eight share two neighboring lanes, which the venue calls a pit. When a lane is free, you can ask your coach to add 30 or 60 minutes. On this listing, cancelling at least 24 hours ahead brings a full refund; inside 24 hours there is none.
📍 The lanes are at 8462 Palm Parkway in Vista Centre Shoppes, between Kobe Steakhouse and Kung Fu Kitchen, with parking on site. The map pin marks Player 1 Video Game Bar in the same plaza, used here as a nearby landmark. The doors stay open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
