Three Walker Street Galleries in One Afternoon
Derek Eller, George Adams and Cristin Tierney sit within a block of each other on Walker Street.
One Block, Three Programmes
The Airy Room on 38 Walker
Derek Eller shows solo and group exhibitions in a space that gives each piece room, so a single work carries the wall instead of competing with its neighbour. The mosaic pieces of Peter Linde Busk reveal their construction only up close: stand closer than feels polite and the surface changes.

Painting, Sculpture, Paper
George Adams mixes modern and contemporary painting, sculpture and ceramics across solo and group shows, and keeps works on paper in the rotation. It is the most conventional of the three rooms and the easiest place to start if you want to see how a gallery hangs a small group show without crowding the walls.

Upstairs for Video and Performance
Cristin Tierney runs on the second floor with solo and thematic exhibitions that move between painting, sculpture and mixed 2D and 3D media, video installations included. Programming leans to work that needs time rather than wall space, so budget the last half hour here and watch one piece to the end.
