Three Temecula Wineries From Old Town, With Someone Else Driving

A trolley loops three Temecula wineries from Old Town, with a host on the microphone and a separate driver at the wheel.

Ride a trolley to three Temecula wineries.

The boarding point is the Old Town Temecula town square, by the fountain near the corner of Main Street and Mercedes Street, in front of the Temecula Valley Visitor Center and a covered parking garage that charges nothing. The day runs on two people: a host working a microphone inside the cabin, and a separate driver who handles the road. Guests writing about this trip almost always name both of them.

The trolley is enclosed and air conditioned, and the operator describes it as opening up to the air when Temecula weather allows. A tour runs four and a half to five hours, and noon is the common departure, with 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM slots on some days. USD 119 buys the cheapest day of the week: it holds Monday through Wednesday, then 139 Thursday, 149 Friday, 159 Sunday and 179 Saturday. A Saturday seat costs USD 60 more than a Monday seat on the same trolley, and 119 is the figure quoted up front, so read it as a floor. Gratuities sit outside all of it. The exclamation mark in the product name comes from a readers' choice vote run by USA TODAY's 10Best in 2024: a panel nominated ten wine tour companies across the United States, readers ranked this one second, and no other California company on the list placed higher. Readers were voting on the company, this one departure was never on the ballot, and the operator does not display the result anywhere on its own site.

The Ride Between Wineries Is Not Quiet

Guests describe dancing in the aisle, a playlist running between stops, and a host keeping up commentary on what is coming next. One traveller in September 2026 wrote that the party atmosphere had arrived by the third winery. Another in April 2026 counted live music playing at every stop. Twenty of this trip's 136 reviews mention music, dancing or a party atmosphere: plan on a social afternoon with a soundtrack. Nobody in the group has to decide who stays sober.

The Three Wineries Are Chosen for You

The operator's published tour description promises three wineries and five to six pours at each, and a guest counting in January 2026 reported six at every stop. Pours at all three wineries are covered by the ticket. Which three houses you get is not announced ahead of the day. Reviewers in 2025 named Callaway, Falkner and Akash across different trips. Treat any name you read as that day's draw. One guest wrote in August 2025 that she could not reach the office for the list before her tour, and the company answered publicly that it had no record of her messages. Neither account can be checked from outside.

Eat in Old Town, Before or After

Food is not on the included list, on the booking page or in the operator's own description of the tour. The operator points guests to Old Town for a meal first and counts more than fifteen restaurants inside a short walk of the curb. A traveller in June 2026 found the downtown start convenient for lunch before and dinner after. Bottled water is included, and guests mention snacks aboard.

Twenty-One and Over, and a Day the Weather Can Cancel

The booking form carries a single age band, adults twenty-one to one hundred, and nobody younger can be added to a reservation. Cancelling at least twenty-four hours ahead returns the full amount, and anything later returns nothing. The operator can also call off a departure for bad weather or for too few travellers. Guiding is in English. The booking page lists an Instagram video shot on each tour, though the operator's own write-up of its daily tours does not mention one.

The trolley comes back to the curb it left from, in the late afternoon, with the garage still a few steps away. Old Town keeps going from there.
