First Quincy Street Community Garden is operated by its community and includes flowers at 397 to 401 Quincy Street in Brooklyn. It also contains a tribute specifically dedicated to the 12 Black firefighters who died on September 11. Tea Practice from Floor Level
Floating Mountain pairs guided gongfu tea ceremonies with study and classes in a gallery setting. Seating is on the floor, and loose clothing is recommended for the experience. The tea house provides an online reservation option. Recorded hours run from two to eight PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday and Saturday hours are noon to eight PM, Sunday is noon to five PM, and Tuesday is closed. Across these offerings, close attention to tea preparation remains central to the visit.
