Where to Learn, Play, and Eat Well in Queens
Three Queens stops cover very different ground. A&C Super bakes brioche doughnuts and churns its own ice cream, A.R.R.O.W. Field House runs media programs alongside the court, and Abib Newborn Garden teaches growing. Entry is free.

Brioche Doughnuts and House Made Ice Cream
At A and C Super, house baked breads, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches form the daily bakery selection. Custom orders add a separate ordering option beyond those standard choices. Outdoor picnic tables provide the seating, because the bakery has no indoor seating. Hours run from 8 AM to 4 PM every day, covering breakfast and the early afternoon. The same schedule applies across the week, and seating for any bakery purchase remains outside at the picnic tables rather than inside the shop.

Media Learning Beyond the Court
A.R.R.O.W. Field House combines basketball and garden space with a digital media lab. Media education and job training broaden its role, while community resources and seasonal programming extend the mix. Education and activity share one setting, reflecting a center with athletic, educational, and practical functions. Together, these offerings cover recreation, digital learning, workforce preparation, and community programming. Hours run Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM, with the center closed Saturday and Sunday. Recreation Center Membership is listed for the facility rather than a standard price.

A Classroom Among Crops
The garden operates off grid with solar power, pairing urban agriculture with Learning Gardens programs centered on food justice. Educational activities cover garden maintenance and healthy eating instruction. Biodiversity forms part of the garden program. Programs offer practical lessons in growing and care within the community garden. Entry is free. Access is limited to Monday through Wednesday from 1 PM to 5 PM, and Friday from noon to 5 PM. It is closed Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. These hours define a limited weekly window for public visits.
