Photo Booth Hunting in NYC: 3 Spots to Try
Trace three Manhattan photo booths, from an analog studio on the Lower East Side to a Times Square lobby, one strip at a time.

📸 Retrography's Analog Booth
Retrography sits behind a metal storefront on Essex Street, half photo studio and half cafe. The booth shoots on film and hands back real strips, plus a digital video clip of the same session. The concrete room stays roomy enough to skip the usual squeeze, and the counter pours wine and coffee next to fresh cookies.

🍸 7B Horseshoe Bar
A few blocks north, 7B Horseshoe Bar holds the corner of Avenue B with a red door, a horseshoe counter, and a punk-heavy jukebox. The old photo booth has turned up on screen, most notably in Jessica Jones. Drinks stay fairly priced, and the room runs from noon until 4 AM.

🔥 Bar Ameritania's Fireside Booth
Bar Ameritania tucks into a hotel lobby on West 54th Street, a short walk from Times Square. Red table lamps and zebra pillows frame a fireplace lounge, and a vintage photo booth waits near the bar. The room opens Tuesday through Saturday from 5 PM, for a quieter, dressed-up drink.
