Three Halloween Horror Trivia Nights to Play in Manhattan

Slashers, Hocus Pocus, and queer cult horror split three team quiz nights by crowd, from first-timers to costume regulars.

Pick a team captain before you go.

🔪 Tuesday 8:30 PM, Slasher Rounds in Hell's Kitchen

Built for slasher fans who can name every final girl, Horror Movies Trivia at The Molly Pitcher Club runs five rounds on slashers, supernatural scares, psychological thrillers, iconic villains, and twists. Entry is free with an Eventbrite reservation, and one team captain books seats for the whole group, while solo players reserve a single ticket. The quiz wraps around 10:00 PM.

🧹 Thursday 7:00 PM, Hocus Pocus at Union Square

The easiest entry point for a single-film fan or a first-timer, Hocus Pocus Trivia at Barn Joo spends five rounds on the Sanderson Sisters, Max, Dani, Billy Butcherson, spell books, and black cats. Reservations are free on Eventbrite, and solo players get placed on a team for the night. The 7:00 PM start fits an after-work plan.

🦇 Sunday 9:00 PM, Queer Horror in the West Village

Made for queer pop culture fans who want a costume night, Queer Horror Trivia at Henrietta Hudson draws on Practical Magic, Yellowjackets, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Jennifer's Body, and more cult picks. Doors open at 8:30 PM, tickets are 10 dollars, and the bar is 21 and up. Play solo or in teams of up to six, with a prize for the winning team. Plan on at least one smartphone per team for submitting answers.
