⚓ Take the guided tour first

Built in 1936, the Queen Mary spent three decades crossing the Atlantic before Long Beach took her in, and the ship now runs guided tours through the art deco staterooms, the public rooms and the decks. The vessel is open around the clock and rated 4.4 by close to thirty thousand visitors. Board at 1126 Queens Highway. Start with a guided tour rather than walking the corridors cold, because the ship reads better with the history attached, and the ghost tours cover the same decks with a different script after dark. Seasonal programming runs through the autumn. Weekday mornings are the quietest boarding window. Two hours covers the main tour and the deck.
