⛵ A Clubhouse on the Water

Take your next bar outing onto New York Harbor. The Honorable William Wall, locally called the Willy Wall, is the Manhattan Yacht Club clubhouse anchored just north of Ellis Island. Originally built as a race committee platform, it brings you close to sailboat racing with panoramic skyline views.

Getting there means boarding a launch from Manhattan or Jersey City. Upstairs is a covered deck, downstairs is fully enclosed, and a full bar handles the drinks. You can bring your own food, and flat shoes are recommended.

The season runs May through October, with Tuesday to Friday hours from half past five PM to 10 PM, Saturday from half past noon to 5 PM and half past five PM to 10 PM, and Sunday from 4 PM to 8 PM, while Monday is closed. Tickets are nonrefundable, with standby tickets possible.
