Flatiron Diner Lunch at a 40 Foot Counter With Vinyl Stools
Order a pastrami sandwich or tuna melt on daily rye from New Jersey, with a lime rickey and 60s music.
🥪 Rye Bread and Rickeys
S and P Lunch puts a classic Flatiron diner meal inside the historic Eisenberg space at 174 5th Ave. The room preserves a 40 foot counter with vinyl swivel stools, a proper perch for taking your time over a classic New York lunch. Music from the 60s fills the room while the staff serves the comfort food that anchors this nostalgic spot.
Pastrami packed sandwiches and tuna melts give you two starting points, with lime rickeys to drink alongside them. Fresh rye bread arrives daily from New Jersey. Expect a per person price range of 6 to 19 US dollars.
Sandwich experts Eric Finkelstein and Matt Ross own the diner, and longtime staff member Jodi works the register. Plan around opening hours Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 8 PM.
