Thillens Stadium

Now officially the Baseball Stadium at Devon & Kedzie, the park spent over six decades hosting youth ball, including the Chicago Park District’s Inner City Little League. Its history also extends to sports broadcasting through an early centerfield camera setup that later became an industry standard for televised games.

The grounds retain the feel of a big little stadium with dedicated stands, though current conditions show noticeable wear. Teams still play on the diamond, but visitors note an unused scoreboard, unfinished renovations, and outfields shared with soccer.
