Description
The stage sits inside the Balzer Theater at Herren's, which formerly housed Herren's restaurant—the first restaurant in Atlanta to voluntarily desegregate in 1963—and later became the first historic building in the United States to achieve LEED certification. Its regular lineup features contemporary plays, musicals, and conversation-starting special events, rounded out by the 'Made in Atlanta' new work program and the 'Live at the Balzer' guest artist series.
