Description

Opened in 1992, the 15-acre park grew from pioneer feminist Roxcy O'Neal Bolton's dream to honor Miami-Dade County women and their community contributions. The grounds feature the Gates and Fences Project by Miami artist Lydia Rubio, a picnic pavilion, and the Leona Ferguson Cooper playground for children. The gallery holds displays on prominent women in history.
