The Wine Country Day That Starts With a Phone Call

A private Napa or Sonoma wine day, with the tastings booked around what you like before the driver pulls up.

This booking comes without a route. The listing names no wineries and no stops; what it sells is a private vehicle, a driver who doubles as guide, and six hours of his day. The wineries are chosen before pickup, from what you tell him you like to drink. The operator's own site says planning starts with a talk about your likes, your dislikes and your must-see list, and reviewers repeatedly describe that talk as a phone call before the day.

Of 82 published reviews going back to 2021, 79 name the driver, and every one of them names Tony. The operator's contact address is his.

One price covers the whole vehicle for one to six travelers. As of October 14, 2026, the booking calendar showed USD 560 for the car. That covers the private air-conditioned vehicle, the driver-guide, bottled water, and fees and taxes. Tasting fees, lunch and gratuities are not included. Only travelers 21 and over taste, and a full refund applies if you cancel at least 24 hours before the departure time.

How the Day Gets Built

The operator's home page says plainly that a guest who only wants a door-to-door chauffeur is probably in the wrong place, and pitches a wine country concierge that builds a detailed itinerary instead. The pitch is the planning. Reviewers describe a few questions up front, then tasting reservations made for them, and one 2024 traveler booked at 6 PM the night before, got a call back within the hour and had the day arranged on the go. Of the nine reviewers who count their stops, seven say three wineries; one couple did four in 2022, and another asked for a slow day in 2024 and did two. Several mention lunch being booked or ordered ahead, and a 2026 reviewer says it was ordered while the group was still tasting.

The region follows the request. Reviews place these days in Napa Valley, around Sonoma, in Dry Creek Valley and the Russian River Valley, and one 2022 day crossed Bennett Valley to a small private winery.

Harvest Crowds, Quiet Winters

The operator calls August 15 to November 1 its "high season," harvest time, when "everything from rooms to wine dinners sell out fast." The other end of the year reads differently. A reviewer who went in January 2025 says the off-season left the group nearly alone at each of its three wineries. Booking confirmation is instant.

What You Pay at the Wineries

The listing's opening line pictures bubbly and a croissant from Bouchon for the drive out. Its inclusions list no food, only bottled water, and none of the 82 reviews mentions a croissant.

Tasting fees are paid to each winery. A page on the operator's own site, last updated in August 2023, puts them at about USD 50 to 75 a person, with cult-winery and winemaker tastings usually higher, and notes that some wineries waive the fee if you buy enough wine or belong to the club. The same page warns that many appointment-only wineries take a card deposit and keep a 48-hour cancellation policy of their own. That clock runs separately from this booking's 24-hour refund window, so tell the driver the moment plans change. On gratuity, the operator writes that it is "neither included nor expected."

Kids, Groups and Getting In and Out

The listing takes travelers of any age. A family that brought a two-year-old in 2023 says the driver found them family-friendly wineries, "which was not easy." Six is the ceiling for one vehicle, and a 2026 review describes three couples riding together for two days. The listing ticks "suitable for all physical fitness levels" and says small children "can ride in a pram or stroller"; the operator's own site says nothing about either. Climbing in and out of the vehicle several times, and whatever a given winery's cave or hillside involves, are worth putting in the special-requirements box when you book, since the wineries are picked after that.

📍 There is no meeting point to find. The listing's pickup list runs to more than 160 hotels, from Calistoga and Healdsburg down to Petaluma, Novato and American Canyon, and the operator adds Airbnbs, vacation rentals and private homes inside its pickup zone; the booking form asks for your pickup point. After that, the only homework is knowing which wines you like.
