Description
First staged at the Dance Theatre Workshop before transferring to Broadway in 1984, the original production shook up traditional solo theater. Under the direction of Whitney White, this revival brings Goldberg's gallery of nuanced character portraits back to the stage. A cast featuring Dominique Fishback, Kecia Lewis, Danielle Pinnock, Jurnee Smollett, and Kara Young takes turns breathing life into the funny, deeply human roles that launched a career forty years ago.
