Description
Before transferring to Broadway in 1984, Whoopi Goldberg's provocative solo debut challenged the conventions of one-person theater at the Dance Theatre Workshop. This production, directed by Whitney White, brings her array of characters back to the stage through an ensemble that includes Dominique Fishback, Kecia Lewis, Danielle Pinnock, and Kara Young. Note the schedule shifts: Kerry Washington appears through August 2nd, and Jurnee Smollett joins starting August 4th.
