The Who's Tommy

After witnessing his father shoot his rival, young Tommy Walker retreats into himself, obsessively staring at his reflection. An innate skill for pinball then lifts him from reticent adolescent to celebrity savior. This fresh reinvention of Pete Townshend’s rock opera reexamines the classic story for today, blending myth and spectacle with anthems including “I’m Free,” “Sensation,” and “Pinball Wizard”. The production makes its L.A. premiere with a newly staged national tour at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre.
