Near Marietta Square, this restored 1900 Victorian mansion frames gatherings with wraparound porches and formal gardens.
Description

Built after an 1890s fire destroyed the M.G. Whitlock House resort, the property was established by Herbert C. Dobbs and his wife Annie. Over the decades, it cycled through stints as a family home, a senior center, and a bed-and-breakfast before evolving into an event facility. Following a remodel in late 2020, the space pairs its historic architecture with updated interiors, hosting gatherings ranging from weddings and elopements to corporate retreats alongside an attentive on-site team.
