Description

Originally home to Engine Co. 18, the building operated as an active fire station for nearly 60 years and earned a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Its run almost ended when a devastating fire in 2011 triggered a demolition order, but the endangered property was acquired in 2015 and restored by Karen Goodlow Designs. Today, it remains highly regarded as a notable Nashville landmark, carrying its municipal history directly into everyday community use.
