The bar takes its name from the Semi-Tropic Spiritualists Association, an early-1900s utopianist collective from the wooded hills of Echo Park. That history carries into the drink list, with craft cocktails named after the collective served alongside a food menu. Inside, comfortable booths furnish a cozy, aesthetic room centered around curated 50s and 60s records.
