The Rockefeller Christmas Tree Arrives Bare on November 7
Meet six Care Bears, write a wish onto the Caring Tree and build a keepsake at Rockefeller Center on November 7.
🎄 The Tree Before the Lights
🌲 Arrival Morning
The 2026 tree is a 76 foot Norway spruce from West Edmeston, New York. It arrives at Center Plaza on Saturday, November 7, for the tree arrival and free welcome event, now in its second year. Both the arrival and the day are free. See the tree before its December 2 lighting ceremony, while it stands plain before crews dress it in more than 50,000 lights.
🧸 Care Bears and Crafts
The Holiday Workshop presented by Care Bears and FAO Schwarz fills the plaza with small things to do. Six Care Bears characters pose for photos, and children can write a holiday letter, add a wish or an act of kindness to The Caring Tree, and make a handmade keepsake at the Care-A-Lot Craft Corner. Photos with the tree are the other draw, and the whole workshop is free.
