Flamingo Las Vegas opened in 1946 on what is now the center Strip at 3555 Las Vegas Boulevard, and it remains the oldest resort still running on the boulevard. Bugsy Siegel backed the original build, and the towers standing today rose in later decades.
Pink and coral signage wraps the towers, and a garden out back keeps live Chilean flamingos, pelicans, and koi. Walk the free Wildlife Habitat in the morning, when the flamingos wade the streams before the pool crowds arrive. Pools, cabanas, and a party deck fill the space between the towers.
Rooms, restaurants, and a casino floor fill the rest of the complex, and reviewers rate the resort 4.0 across more than seventy thousand accounts. The central location puts the monorail and neighboring casinos within a short walk.
