Description

Jas Charanjiva originally conceived the Pink Lady in 2013 in response to the Nirbhaya case in Delhi, creating the figure to champion fundamental freedoms and the dismantling of patriarchy. Located at the corner of Hayes and Divisadero Streets, the San Francisco installation is presented in partnership with Rare Device, situating the long-running visual campaign directly on the street.
