The Park at East Altamonte
3.3 (4)park
A quiet neighborhood park with open lawn and shaded pavilions, built for relaxed breaks and easy outdoor gatherings.
Description

Two covered pavilions named in honor of Altamonte Springs native and former U.S. Representative Alcee L. Hastings anchor this understated park. Around the shelters, an Adopt-a-Brick Program places engraved bricks that support the historic Evergreen Cemetery's restoration.
The grounds draw mixed reactions regarding the sparse amenities. While some appreciate a quiet retreat with electrical outlets for tablets and workday breaks, others note the site offers little beyond the pavilions and a large parking area. Both the pavilions and open space remain reservable for private and community gatherings.
