Set in 1967 Tulsa, this production draws inspiration from both the original story and Francis Ford Coppola’s film adaptation. The staging is directed by Danya Taymor, featuring a book by Adam Rapp and Justin Levine. Its roots-influenced music and lyrics are co-written by the Americana duo Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance) alongside Levine, bringing a distinct sonic landscape to the stage.
