Description

Founded in Portland in 1953 by Les Highet and Erma Hueneke, the concept took shape around authentic national and ethnic pancake recipes. The kitchen covers wide culinary ground, baking hearty apple pancakes, turning out peach stacks, and pairing corned beef hash with potato pancakes. During strawberry season, tables routinely order bowls of fresh berries topped with whipped cream, accompanied by prompt, attentive service.
