A classic breakfast fixture known for scratch-made batters, oven-baked apple pancakes, and golden-brown Dutch Babies.
Description

While the brand was founded in Portland in 1953, its Chicago roots trace to 1972, when Uncle Joe opened an outpost in Hyde Park. Today, the Sczurek family continues that run across multiple Chicagoland locations, remaining family-owned and operated for three generations. Daily kitchen prep still follows recipes from more than 50 years ago, turning out fresh batters alongside sauces and syrups made from scratch daily.
