The New Farm

Set on Port of San Francisco property along Cargo Way, the site operates as the main program of the Green City Project, sharing space with Bay Natives Nursery and Heron's Head Nursery. A greenhouse and open outdoor areas host art exhibits, community gatherings, and hands-on environmental and artistic education focused on sustainability and local ecology.

Visitors describe an underground counterculture atmosphere that channels punk and hippie philosophies into a participatory setting, offering a space where neighbors gather for workshops and community building.
