A historic Georgetown estate where rich Byzantine and Pre-Columbian collections meet sixteen acres of terraced gardens.
Description

Established through the legacy of art collectors Robert and Mildred Bliss, the grounds unfold across designs shaped by landscape gardener Beatrix Farrand. Outside, paths weave past orchards, kitchen gardens, open meadows, and wooded stretches. Inside, the galleries display works dating back to antiquity, shifting between the tapestries and paintings of a Renaissance-inspired Music Room and the graceful lines and natural sunlight of the Pre-Columbian Gallery, alongside innovative special exhibitions.
