The Kreeger Museum

David and Carmen Kreeger’s assembled collection extends beyond European and American modernists like Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, and Henry Moore to include traditional African and Asian art. Co-designed by Richard Foster alongside Philip Johnson, the Foxhall residence provides an intimate and uncrowded gallery experience in a quiet residential setting. Beyond the permanent holdings, the museum also stages rotating contemporary art exhibitions and musical performances.
