The Jefferson, D.C.
4.7 (805)hotel
A Beaux-Arts boutique hotel pairing a book-lined salon and skylit greenhouse dining with a subterranean wine cellar.
Description

Set in downtown Washington a short walk from the White House, the hotel is inspired by Thomas Jefferson's passions for architecture, reading, and gastronomy. Dining shapes much of the on-site identity, moving between acclaimed meals at Plume, morning dining and brunch at The Greenhouse, and drinks at Quill. Beneath the main floors, a subterranean wine cellar is stocked with rare vintages alongside the historic book room.
